My organisation
Applying world-leading expertise in industrial symbiosis and proven technology, International Synergies (ISL) work internationally with the private and public sectors to advance the transition to a more circular economy. ISL are engaged by private sector clients in various sectors ranging from food and drink manufacture to infrastructure (road, rail, water). Areas of activity have included carbon reduction strategy, feedstock analysis, facilitation, supply chain engagement and thought leadership. ISL are often engaged by national governments and regional agencies to develop roadmaps to foster a more circular economy at the national or regional level.
ISL has extensively showcased the role of industrial symbiosis in driving systemic change towards sustainable development. ISL works to inspire governments and industry to apply industrial symbiosis methodology through participation in European and other international projects, key note speeches, interviews and publications. Its award-winning resource reuse platform SYNERGie(R) has hosted over 100,000 resources for reuse since its launch in 2009.
