About me
Researcher at Environmental and Marine Biology at Åbo Akademi University. I work with marine conservation planning, bioindicator development, and restoration of marine habitats. My work has also included extensive surveying of shallow underwater habitats.
My organisation
Environmental and Marine Biology at Åbo Akademi University has its' main emphasis on the biology and environment of the Baltic Sea, specifically structure and function of coastal archipelago areas. Our teaching and research focus on the entire ecosystem encompassing phytoplankton, seagrasses, macroalgae, benthic fauna and fish (communities and behavioural biology) as well as terrestrial plants on islands and seabird ecology.
