About me
Agnė is a dedicated environmentalist and the Environmental and Permitting Projects Manager at Ignitis Renewables, where she is working on Lithuania’s first offshore wind farm project, Curonian Nord. Committed to sustainability, Agnė ensures the project is not only a source of renewable energy but also positive force for marine ecosystems and environmental balance. With nearly a decade of experience in marine and environmental management, including significant expertise in marine conservation gained at Lithuania’s Ministry of Environment while implementing the Marine Strategy Framework Directive, Agnė brings a comprehensive understanding of marine conservation and policy implementation. Her expertise equips her to tackle the unique environmental challenges of offshore renewable energy with a holistic and forward-thinking approach.
My organisation
Ignitis Renewables is an international green energy company operating in the three Baltic states and Poland. Its objective is to develop a green and flexible electricity generation portfolio with a focus on offshore wind, onshore hybrid, Power-to-X and storage technologies. By developing new projects, the company is implementing the strategic goal of Ignitis Group to enable green and flexible capacity build-out and to deliver 4–5 GW of installed green generation capacities by 2030
