Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) is the largest social sciences specialized university in Lithuania. Prominent studies and research areas include: law, public security and public administration (including environmental sciences). Mykolas Romeris University successfully implements one of its most important missions – to foster a culture of scientific research and innovation. Mykolas Romeris University scientists and researchers carry out disciplinary and interdisciplinary fundamental and applied research in the social sciences and humanities. Each year about 600 research papers are published, about 50 research projects are implemented, about 50 contract-based services are undertaken, doctoral studies in 6 fields of science are implemented, research-based expert services are provided and solutions for responsible institutions and the public offered.
