Innovative Strategies for Restoring Lakes and Rivers: Aligning with EU Mission “Restore Our Ocean and Waters”

Location:Hall 2
  • Mission Ocean & Waters

Participants will discuss available approaches and measures developed and tested in several restoration projects of the region’s countries. Reduction of internal loading and removal of nutrients, uptake of pollutants, knowledge transfer across the borders - all is relevant for the region's unique challenges. We plan to define actionable next steps as a part of roadmap to advance the implementation of discussed approaches and beyond, in alignment with the EU Mission objectives.
