The objective of the ICTP is the scientific and technological advancement of polymeric materials through research and development. We work in different areas of expertise and have much link with industry transfer. In the energy field, we participate in the development of materials for with application in batteries, supercapacitors, etc. such as sustainable carbon (anodes, supercaps) membranes and polymer gel electrolytes (for next gen batteries). We are interested in testing and using the developed materials in proo-of concept devices seeking potential scalability. We are experienced in coordinating international consortia for H2020 and HE, and ERa-Nets.
