About me
I'm a postdoctoral researcher who focuses on finding atomistic structures that agree with both a variety of experimental data (XRD, ND, XPS) and high-quality electronic structure methods by design: i.e. the inverse structure problem. This allows for one to directly understand experiments through atomic structure and processes: essentially creating a high-resolution computational microscope. A problem of note is the intercalation of ions in amorphous carbon electrodes, such that one can understand pyrolyzed carbon electrodes for use in sodium/other ion batteries.
