About me
Henri Perrin holds an engineering degree (Dipl.-Ing) in process engineering at the TU Kaiserslautern in Germany in 2008 as well as in materials, mechanics and production at ENIM in 2007. He holds a PhD in process engineering from the Arts et Metiers ParisTech in 2010 and began his career as R&D Project leader first, then as R&D manager, in a French technical research centre dedicated to Composite manufacturing technologies. In 2017, in the frame of the Luxembourg national composite initiative, he started the structural composite manufacturing and welding activities and became Lead engineer and Composite Platform leader in 2019 and Design and Manufacturing of Advanced Composite (DMAC) research group leader in 2023. He is the principal investigator of four EU & national funded projects in partnership with Luxembourg-based companies, Project Coordinator of two consortium, PI of an ESA project on vitrimer composite with Thales. He is project leader of a significant research contract with DAHER (https://www.daher.com/en/daher-and-luxembourgs-list-will-develop-a-welding-technologyfor-the-assembly-of-aircraft-substructures-produced-with-thermoplastic-composites/),,) on the structural thermoplastic composite welding He is co-inventors of 20 patents (8 as under LIST position).
