The Center for Innovation in Transport (CENIT) is qualified in three main areas: port and maritime transport, urban mobility and infrastructure management.

About me

I am an Industrial Engineer from Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna.  My areas of expertise include logistics, production systems, research operation and transports. I joined the Center for Innovation in Transport, CENIT, in 2022 as PhD candidate for Digitalization at the Port of Barcelona.

During my Bachelor’s Degree, I spent a semester in Buenos Aires, Argentina, attending courses at Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires, ITBA. My Bachelor’s dissertation was on the topic of logistics and production systems, called “Divisional Seru: demonstration of an analytical model for the estimation of the expected productivity”.
I continued my Master’s studies at Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna and spent a semester at École Supérieure d’Ingénieurs en Électronique et Électrotechnique, ESIEE Paris, where I completed my dissertation concerning distribution logistics and research operation. My Master’s Thesis title is “Crowd-shipping and autonomous vehicles: an optimization model for the last mile delivery”.
