DeSaH developed a local/decentralized and circular wastewater treatment system which uses source separation and treats black and grey water separately. The big goal of this system is to decrease drinking water usage and reuse water, energy and nutrients. DeSaH has implemented this system in several countries like the Netherlands and Sweden. Next to this, DeSaH also has solutions for black water treatment, grey water treatment and wastewater treatment in general. The systems of DeSaH are modular and flexible because it can also be delivered in containerized units. DeSaH is applicable for (new) neighborhoods, high-rise/office buildings, holiday villages, remote settlements and can be used as additional capacity for your WWTP. In 2022 DeSaH won GWI's (Global Water Intellegence) Global Water Award in the category Wastewater Project of the Year for their circular decentralised wastewater treatment solution for a new neighborhood in Helsingborg, Sweden.
