About
VTT Technical research Centre of Finland's research area Biomaterial processing and products does applied research on following themes:
-
Fiber web processes
-
Biopolymer films, foams, and composites
-
Biorefining processes
-
Lignin and sidestream valorization
-
Soft materials
-
Bioinspired materials
-
Barrier packaging solutions
-
Cellulose coatings and films
-
Textiles and nonwoven materials
VTT has launched its Energy First initiative focusing on developing energy-efficient processes and products, particularly in the forest industry.
