Doctoring around, in an attempt to build a brighter future by researching e-Health
About me
I graduated the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila" in 2004. With a background of over 15 years in family medicine, I am passionate about medicine; expanded my clinical skills with sonography and life support competencies, while also graduating a master’s degree in public health management. Currently pursuing a second medical specialization (geriatric care) and investigating applied teshnostress / gerotechnologies as part of my PhD research.
Passionate about IT&C (certified network administrator, by the way) I turned my own home into a smart home „living lab”, experimenting first-hand benefits and inconveniences of IoT; currently coordinating clinical SMART BEAR activities for the Romanian Pilot (HORIZON project) lead by Ana Aslan International Foundation. As an old collaborator and supporter of AAIF, I am involved in writing and managing research projects.
My organisation
Ana Aslan International Foundation is a non-profit NGO with a declared mission to integrate scientific advances into preventive and personalized medicine; we provide the tools to reshape brain aging medicine into longevity medicine.
Our devotion and passion for our work enables us to acquire and transfer expertise into providing cutting-edge medical services in brain aging and longevity medicine.
