Pilot production of next-generation batteries (e. g. LiS batteries or ASSB)
Head of Deparment, Research Engineer at Technical University of Braunschweig - Institute of Machine Tools and Production Technology
Braunschweig, Germany
About
With expertise in lab and pilot scale production of conventional Li-ion and ASSB cells, our German consortium (Technical University of Braunschweig - IWF, iPAT) is looking for partners in the field of material synthesis, equipment manufacturers, and battery end users for building and validating a Lithium sulfur battery pilot production line. Our aims is to produce first cells for a specific high power or energy application in order to validate first implementation routes while furthering an early ramp up of next-generation battery cells on an industrial production scale. As of now, we have build a German consortium with a potential SME for material provision and research for optimization. We are therefore looking for international partners along the process and product chain.
