Battery testing - Performance measurement

The laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation and diagnostic systems, as well as facilities and infrastructure ranging from laboratory scale to prototype and pilot scale. The lab has several battery testers (cyclers), some of which have multiple channels that can be used individually or combined in parallel to increase the available power. Additionally, the laboratory has an EIS analyzer.

The laboratory facilities include 4 climate chamber. One of the climate chambers is specifically designed to perform abuse tests on electrochemical cells.

Furthermore, the laboratory has proven experience in battery modeling, particularly for performance estimates as a function of duty cycles.
