Adelaide Ngaruiya

Adelaide Njeri is the founder of Ajani House Ltd., a bakery established in 2016 and renowned for its custom cakes, pastries, and commitment to sustainability. Under her leadership, Ajani House has integrated eco-friendly practices, making a positive impact in the local business community hence creating jobs in her local community.

Adelaide has served as a board member of the Initiatives for Development of the East Africa Region since 2010, contributing to the region's growth and development. In 2022, she became an alumna of the prestigious Growth Africa Cohort, further honing her entrepreneurial skills. A graduate of the Graça Machel Trust, Adelaide now serves as a Master Mentor, where she empowers other business leaders and entrepreneurs.

Her academic background includes studies in Social Work and Community Development at the University Espoir De Africa, Additionally, Adelaide is the director of Bakers on the Road, an organization that creates innovative and community-centered baking experiences.
