Kathlijn Fruithof

As a Trade and Investment Commissioner at hub.brussels, I have been working for over seven years to facilitate and foster bilateral trade and investment opportunities between Brussels and the US. I have an EMBA from Université Paris Dauphine and Université du Québec à Montréal, and a strong background in international business and investment promotion.

I previously worked as a Trade Commissioner in Madrid, Montreal, Alger and Chennai.

My mission is to support Brussels-based companies in their quest to export to the US market, and to attract US investors looking to expand into the European mainland. I provide information, guidance, and contacts to help them achieve their goals. I also participate in trade shows, organize business trips, and update on new regulations and policies. I am passionate about connecting people and businesses across borders, and leveraging the strategic advantages of Brussels as the capital of Belgium and Europe.
