About
We bring valuable expertise to Horizon Europe, combining strong local engagement, multidisciplinary knowledge, and direct experience in rural development and environmental conservation. Despite being a small NGO, we have successfully collaborated with larger institutions, such as universities, and major organizations. One of our key strengths is our deep-rooted connection to the territory, allowing us to foster direct relationships with local entities, including farmers, entrepreneurs, forestry stakeholders, and municipal governments. This positions us as an effective bridge between institutional partners and local actors, ensuring that the project remains grounded in real community needs and fostering trust-based collaborations.
Our expertise is particularly relevant in rural areas at risk of depopulation, as we work directly in these communities and understand their challenges firsthand. Our experience in land stewardship projects, heritage interpretation, and environmental education further strengthens our capacity to contribute meaningfully. Additionally, we have strong connections with educational institutions at all levels, facilitating knowledge transfer and engagement with younger generations. As a multidisciplinary team—including professionals from agronomy, forestry, and social sciences—we bring a holistic perspective to addressing complex challenges.
Our motivation to join Horizon projects is driven by a strong commitment to sustainability and rural resilience, making this an opportunity to scale our impact and contribute to long-term, transformative solutions.
We are looking for a diverse range of partners to collaborate on tackling the challenges of forest bioeconomy development, rural depopulation, and the transition to agroecology and sustainable farming. We aim to join an existing consortium where our expertise aligns or to co-create a new one.
We seek collaboration with NGOs, research institutions and universities, public authorities and local governments, farmers' associations and cooperatives, private sector actors, civil society organizations, as well as living labs and demonstration sites.
Our role would be as partners, not coordinators.
