Activating Living Labs in Bioregions: HORIZON-CL6-2025-02-FARM2FORK-01
About
As part of HORIZON-CL6-2025-02-FARM2FORK-01, Korowód is excited to contribute to the development of agroecology and agroforestry living labs as part of the European partnership on sustainable farming transitions.
We are actively building a bioregional platform in Lower Silesia and Central Poland that integrates:
-
Agroecological demonstration sites with agroforestry and mixed farmers;
-
Partnerships with research institutes (e.g. IUNG, InHort);
-
Citizen and farmer-led experimentation;
-
Cultural and narrative-based engagement with the public.
Our contribution to the consortium includes:
-
An operational context and cross-sectoral local ecosystem;
-
A focus on systemic place-based transition pathways;
-
A governance framework rooted in participatory co-creation and bioregional identity;
-
Integration of educational and storytelling tools for farmer and community involvement.
We aim to connect living labs to food systems, watershed planning, and landscape regeneration, making agroecology not just a practice—but a cultural and economic model.
