The institute specializes in health economics, outcomes research, public health, policy analysis, and food and nutrition science, contributing to evidence-based decision-making and policy development at local, European, and global levels. SRI's key areas of expertise in EU grants:
• Food & Nutrition Science: Food safety risk assessment, risk-benefit assessment, food health technology assessment, emerging food systems risk identification, exposome research
• Project Sustainability: Sustainability planning, stakeholder engagement, environmental impact assessment.
• Economic Evaluation: Defining target product profile and target patient population, developing value framework and model concept, developing and validating health economic models (CEA, BIM, NPV), and adapting them to target countries
• Transferability Assessment: Definition of country archetypes, exploring the relationship between context-specific factors and the parameters of analysis, proposing tailored implementation strategies according to country archetypes
• Communication & Dissemination: Strategic communication plans, branding, website, social media outreach.
