About

Ai-based TIZLAB Hyperion is designed for the purpose of designing optical systems by combining optical ele-ments such as lenses and screens. It allows users to import various optical elements with minimal steps through a simple interface and assemble the desired system. Users can set their own lens shapes, but they can also import commercially available lenses from a catalog and use them as they are. Designed lenses undergo ray tracing to evaluate their performance through spot diagrams and distortion diagrams.

The MLA module, which is an additional option, provides functionality for designing Micro Lens Arrays (MLAs). Segments that make up the MLA come in various shapes, such as squares and rings, and users can assign different sizes to each of them. Furthermore, it is possible to create segments of freeform shapes based on image images. The 3D shape of the MLA is automatically calculated when inputting the positions of the object and the image.
