About me
Antonio D. Masegosa took his University degree in Computer Engineering in 2005 and his PhD in Computer Sciences in 2010, both from the University of Granada, Spain. From June 2010 to November 2014 he was a post-doc researcher at the Research Center for ICT of the University of Granada. In 2014 he received an IKERBASQUE Research Fellowship to work in the Mobility Unit of the Deusto Institute of Technology, in Bilbao, Spain. In 2019 he was awarded the IKERBASQUE Research Associate mention and currently, he is the Principal Investigator of the Deusto Smart Mobility Group. He has published four books, twenty-four JCR papers and more than 30 papers in both international and national conferences. He has supervised two PhD theses and five MSc Thesis, and he is currently supervising two PhD theses. He is the work package scientific leader of three European projects (MOMENTUM (H2020), TANGENT (H2020) and SOTERIA (Horizon Europe)) and the PI of a national project and a regional project. He has also participated in 4 European research projects (TIMON, PostLowCIT, LOGISTAR and SENATOR) as well as 5 national and 4 regional research projects. His main research interests are Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Systems, Soft Computing, Hybrid Metaheuristics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Intelligent Transportation Systems, Logistic Networks, Travel Behaviour Analysis, Traffic Forecasting and Traffic Accident Prediction.
