Session 5: Mission Cities Spotlight

This session will delve into how cities are integrating urban mobility measures within Climate City Contracts (CCCs), focusing on both successes and challenges. The first part will feature political representatives Parma, Bologna and Turin providing an in-depth look at the Italian context. The second part will bring together mobility practitioners from four cities — one from Italy and three from other European countries. This diverse panel will explore how CIVITAS Projects are contributing to the goals of the Cities Mission, offering practical insights into how urban mobility initiatives are being implemented and integrated into broader climate strategies. Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the innovative approaches cities are taking to align mobility with climate goals and the collaborative efforts driving these initiatives forward.
