About
Pasquale Marcello Falcone, an environmental economist and Associate Professor of Economic Policy at Parthenope University of Naples, brings a wealth of expertise and accomplishments. His research interests span Bio-economy, Circular Economy, Environmental and Energy Policy, Renewable Energy, Waste Management Policy, Green Finance, and Sustainable Production and Consumption Policy. His prolific contributions include 60 internationally indexed publications and an h-index of 31. Notably, he has earned recognition among the World's Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University and ELSEVIER.
Beyond academia, Pasquale actively participates in various projects and alliances. He is a member of the SEA-EU Alliance, serving as the Rector expert delegate for "Parthenope University" in the task 4.4 "Goes greener." Additionally, he has played crucial roles in H2020 projects such as STAR-ProBio, where he led the socio-economic assessment in WP6. His engagement extends to FP7_SSH projects like EFFACE, contributing to quantitative analysis and monetary impact studies. Furthermore, his involvement in FP7 and COST ACTION TD1203 showcases his commitment to collaborative and impactful research.
At National level Pasquale serves as an Expert Consultant for the National Coordination Group for the Bioeconomy and is a member of the Technical-Scientific Committee of the Italian National Cluster of Circular Bioeconomy (SPRINGER). In various research projects, he holds positions of scientific responsibility, including serving as the national Scientific Coordinator for the PRIN 2022 project (PACE-forBio) and Vice Coordinator for the PRIN 2022 PNRR project (ALMONDO), focusing on lobbying dynamics and climate change policies. His commitment extends to contributing as a Scientific Supervisor for a PON project centered on accelerating the transition toward sustainable circular economy models through a doctoral scholarship.
