Looking for Collaboration Partner - Demonstration of Energy Simulation for Carbon Neutral City

Ninewatt has developed numerous solutions in the data sector, particularly to achieve zero carbon emissions in buildings, by utilizing DATA, AI, and Network technologies. We believe that this CET Partnership joint research presents a great opportunity to find various EU partners.

Ninewatt has extensive experience in developing various simulations and an EnergyMap based on publicly available building data. Through this CET Partnership, we aim to focus particularly on the following building simulations.

• Providing diversified energy simulations through various remodeling scenarios for building units

  • Develop an EnergyPlus model based on the current building's components.

  • Develop an energy simulation based on the EnergyPlus model, and calibrate the model using actual usage data.

• Developing an EP (EnergyPlus) model with the addition of building remodeling elements

  • Passive element remodeling: Improvements to the building envelope, window performance enhancements, and strengthening insulation, etc.

  • Active element remodeling: Replacing LED lighting, high-efficiency HVAC systems, high-efficiency cooling units, and boilers, etc.

• Developing an EP model with the addition of an energy storage system (ESS)

  • Calculate the estimated energy generation from the addition of ESS and BIPV (Building-Integrated Photovoltaics).

• Developing an energy consumption model in connection with mobility charging

  • Small units: Delivery drones, electric bicycles, electric scooters, etc.

  • Large units: Electric vehicles (EV), eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing), etc.

• Setting demonstration goals in response to the EU's green remodeling legislation for buildings

Ninewatt developed data-driven building energy solutions for each level of data collection – building level to whole city level.

• WATTI shows building energy efficiency level diagnosis and renovation solution with energy-map based.

• SAVE-E shows monthly energy consumption and bills dashboard at city & building level,

• Insight-E shows automatic analysis and report system based on real time energy consumption data.
