Off-shore landscape integration
About
We would like to take part in a proposal concerned with analysing and mitigating the landscape-environmental impact of off-shore renewable energies.
At Plain Concepts, we have developed a tool that allows to analyse the visual impact of offshore wind farms on the coastal communities: Viawind (https://www.plainconcepts.com/landing/visual-impact-analysis-offshore-wind-farm/)
Viawind is a 3D tool that provides the most realistic and scientifically rigorous view of what an off-shore wind farm project will look like and how it will adapt to the environment. To perform the visual simulation, only a panoramic photograph of the site from which the landscape impact is to be assessed, as well as the coordinates and dimensions of the turbines.
Our aim in this call is not only to apply this tool to different challenges but also to carry out research to evolve the current tool to take into account other energy devices such as off-shore PV panels.
Why would you choose Plain Concepts as your partner? Basically, because we are:
· Familiar with the call conditions, the submission process, and our national funding rules.
· Fast and committed in providing our text contributions (tasks, objectives, budget, impact, state-of-the-art descriptions…).
· Concerned with and skilled at providing scientifically relevant contents, research-oriented actions, innovation and striking results to the proposal.
