Electric Distrubution System Operator (DSO)

As GDZ DSO, it has been delivering around 16 GWh electrical energy to its totally 3,5 Million customers with a human-oriented service approach and developing technology systems in İzmir and Manisa provinces in Turkey. In addition to electricity distribution services, it also takes part in energy generation with renewable energy sources, including 20 hydroelectric power plants, 3 wind power plants, 1 geothermal power plant with an installed power of 6.85 MW and 1 hybrid power plant with an installed power of 82.15 MW.

In the CETP calls, GDZ offers expertise as a data provider for power generation and consumption case; providing location for demos. As general, it provides real power data and a direct distribution to potential projects in terms of application area/pilot site, pricing, dissemination, provisioning use case application space and provides market data.
