CM 10A: Clean energy integration in the built environment (Research Oriented Approach)
About
We have developed integrated tools based on Physics and AI for the simulation of buildings' needs, renewable energy supply and district heating networks with seasonal storage. We would like to go towards the Clean Energy Transition through further development and application of our tools to different regions in Europe. We can provide a case-study in Switzerland, going from open-data about the buildings (3D BIM and cadaster) towards the simulation of the needs, active facades, storage and heat networks. We can also import architecture-based formats (for instance DXF and IFC) to simulate both existing and new potential neighbourhoods.
