About

We have expertise in dynamic modelling, simulation and optimization of power plants and power systems. We are also able to analyze and develop related control solutions, such as grid forming controls.

We are particularly interested in stationary and dynamic interactions of generation, consumption, grid and markets. For this, the interface between electrical and process/physical behavior is crucial and deserves more attention. The same is true for the interface between power system analysis (stationary, stability,...) and Energy System Optimization Models.

For CETP projects, we can offer activities such as

  • Dynamic modelling of power systems

  • Validation of models by measurement data

  • Stability and performance analyses

  • Control system design

  • Development of specifications/requirements for power system components

  • Defining and solving related optimization problems (unit commitment, OPF, expansion planning, ...)
