MaterX is a consulting company in the field of construction materials, located in Thessaloniki (Greece), that offers solutions from the design stage to the application of materials in construction. The company’s aim is a holistic approach, adopting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in construction. It is a small sized enterprise, directed by three civil engineers expertized in construction, materials and educational issues. Our field of expertise includes: • Use of industrial by-products in concrete. • Life Cycle Assessment and Environmental Product Declarations of materials. • Compatible materials for restoration works in modern and historic buildings. • Supervision of construction works. • R&D on projects related to sustainable construction. • Collaboration with University Laboratories. • Promotion of “green” construction through the organization of workshops and seminars to engineers, technicians and stakeholders. We are keen to meet new partners and forming a consortium.
