Oyak Renault Otomobil Fabrikaları A.Ş. was established in 1969 with the partnership of OYAK Holding and the French Renault Group, starting production in 1971. Oyak Renault Automobile Factories was established to produce Renault branded cars in Turkey with a shareholding distribution of 51% Renault Group and 49% OYAK. It is one of the worldwide production centres of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance with its deep-rooted history.
Oyak Renault Automobile Factories is the largest integrated automobile factory in Turkey, producing its own chassis and engines. The facility has one of the highest production capacities of the Renault Group, with an annual production of 390.000 cars and 920.000 engines.
Oyak Renault Automobile Factories; consisting of a Vehicle Factory, Powertrain Factory, AILN-Alliance International Logistics Network and an R&D Center which has been established officialy in 2010, located on approximately 590 000 m2 area in Bursa, is one of the factories with the largest capacity of the 40 production facilities of the Renault Group worldwide.
As of the end of 2022, Oyak Renault produces the Clio V and Clio V E-Tech (hybrid) models for domestic and international markets. In addition to the engines for these vehicles and many other models, it also produces and exports other parts, especially gearboxes. The automobiles and mechanical parts produced by Oyak Renault are exported to more than 70 countries worldwide.
