5G for Smart Communities Support Platform

5GSC Community Conference Friday, 18 October 2024 Albert Borschette Congress Center, Rue Froissart 36, 1040 Etterbeek, Brussels

The 5G for Smart Communities Support Platform, on behalf of the European Commission, invited its stakeholders to the annual Community Conference for the CEF Digital 5G for Smart Communities. This gathering took place as an engaging Cluster Meeting, designed to foster collaboration and innovation.

Attendees delved into the world of 5G, exploring and identifying common building blocks essential for smart community projects. The discussions addressed the challenges and solutions in the realm of 5G, focusing on implementation, replication, and key enablers across various application domains. The event provided a unique opportunity to gain insights into defining clear business models, understanding technical components, and discovering solutions for off-the-shelf replicable 5G projects.

By the end of the day, participants were empowered with a deeper understanding of common requirements and practical approaches to building their own 5G projects. It was a valuable chance to connect with peers and share knowledge.
