I am looking for the future of Empathic Interaction with disruptive technologies as AI and Robotics.
I am Telecommunication engineer; Master in Biomedical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, with the Master Thesis “Use of physiological signals to analyze user perception in the interaction with ceramic flooring”, which received the R&D award from the Caser Foundation.
Doctor in Technologies for Health and Well-being, with the Doctoral Thesis "Evaluation of web usability through the analysis of gaze and physiological response. Influence of user characteristics."
I am researcher at the Biomechanics Institute of Valencia since 2007. My main research lines are: Older people, people with disabilities, technical aids, usability, analysis of physiological response, human-machine interaction and extended reality.
I have participated in more than 40 funded research projects and 50 research contracts with companies. Including participation and direction of projects funded by the VII Framework Program (ABC, TREMOR, BETTER, BANK4ELDER, PUMA) and H2020 (SUAAVE, DIAMOND, BERTHA, POPULAR).
+ 50 contributions to scientific journals, conferences and book chapters.
My know-how covers the interaction of people with products, services and environments globally, covering physical, sensory, cognitive and emotional aspects objectively; adapting the technology to each context of use and each user.
