CARMEN LÓPEZ

I am an Industrial Engineer from the University of Vigo (https://eei.uvigo.es/ ) and I have a Master's degree in Innovation Management in Business from the School of Industrial Organization of Madrid (https://www.eoi.es/es))

I began my professional career as a Process Engineer in the Telecommunications sector (Comunitel Global which later became part of Tele2 and later Vodafone). In 2007 I moved to the field of R&D&I. Since 2011 I have been part of BALIDEA (Galician ICT Company very focused on digital health) and I am currently responsible for the company's R&D&I area.

I have extensive experience in managing R&D&I projects:

- More than 100 collaborations with companies in the field of innovation.

- More than 50 collaborations with public and private research organizations and non-profit foundations/associations.

- Participation in consortia at regional, national and international level;

- European Projects and Consortia Manager

- PhD supervisor for Industrial Doctorate

- Publications in the field of language technologies

Member of the Board of Directors of the Galician Health Cluster, with whom I collaborate closely.

I am currently a member of the Social Forum of the Galician Language Institute (ILGA) and of the Sectoral Technological Commission for the revision of the General Plan for the Normalization of the Galician Language.
