Margaret Bourke

Margaret Bourke established Taskeru, an international trade consultancy over
4 years ago and is full time in the consultancy from September 2024, working with companies
and organisations in the UK, US, Ireland, Japan, France and Germany.

Margaret was born in Ireland and has had an impressive career spanning
several countries and industries. She has worked for numerous organisations
in global roles, always making the most of her language skills (fluent
English, Japanese, French, German, Irish, some Spanish and Portuguese) and

Since moving to the UK in 2004, Margaret has worked for the Department for
Business and Trade working in various roles related to international trade
promoting British businesses overseas and supporting UK businesses looking
to develop their overseas markets.

Since 2004, Margaret brought companies and missions to several different
countries, including Japan, US, Germany, Spain and France and played a key
role in promoting UK businesses. She also worked closely with UK companies
to help them navigate the complexities of doing business in foreign markets.
More recently her work has focused on supporting UK businesses in expanding
their international presence.

Her acquisition of the Enterprise Nation award for Best International Trade
Advisor, voted for by companies, shows that she is a recognised talent and
accomplished individual in the fields of business and international
relations.
