Markus Messerer

Dr. Markus Messerer is Chief Strategy & Commercial Officer of Telia Company, the leading ICT player in the Nordic and Baltic countries. Until 2020 he was CEO of Alltron AG and a member of the executive board at Competec Group, the leading independent eCommerce company in Switzerland. In earlier positions, Markus was Head of Corporate Strategy at Swisscom and was responsible for Strategy & Transformation at Telekom Austria. He has over 20 years of experience in the TMT sector (technology/media/telecommunication) where strategy, transformation and commercial execution are his key topics – combined with his passion for effective leadership and change management.

Markus holds a PhD in International Management as well as an Executive MBA and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School.
