The Brokerage Event is organized by SPRI-Basque Business Development Agency, a company dependent on the Department of Industry, Energy Transition and Sustainability of the Basque Government, in collaboration with Madri+d Knowledge Foundation and the Sector Group Aeronautics, Space and Defence and the Enterprise Europe Network and the support of HEGAN, Basque Aerospace Cluster and TEDAE, the Spanish Association of Defense, Security, Aeronautics and Space Technology Companies, partners of the ECO-AERO project.

Enterprise Europe Network (EEN)

The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) helps businesses innovate and grow on an international scale. It is the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with international ambitions. The Network is active in more than 60 countries worldwide. It brings together 3,000 experts from more than 600 member organisations – all renowned for their excellence in business support.

EEN’s services are tailored to SMEs, but are also available to all other businesses, universities and research centres, interested in internationalization, technology transfer, access to finance, research funding, advice on EU law and standards, intellectual property and patents, …The Network helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) make the most of business opportunities in the EU and beyond.

The Sector Group brings together experts from Europe's top Aeronautics, Space and Defence regions to help businesses innovate and grow internationally. To be competitive and win contracts, businesses need to innovate and develop strategic partnerships. They also need to stay abreast of laws and regulations in their field.

ECO-AERO

ECO-AERO is the first aerospace innovation ecosystem in Spain to receive the support of the Center for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI).

The main objective of ECO-AERO is to strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of the Spanish aerospace sector through the creation of a collaborative and inclusive environment that enhances innovation. To this end, the project integrates advanced technologies such as additive manufacturing, applied artificial intelligence and robotics in intelligent manufacturing.

ECO-AERO project promotes collaboration between companies, clusters and technological centres, strengthening the national supply chain and ensuring the global competitiveness of the aerospace industry. With a focus on sustainability and digitalisation, it seeks to strengthen the supply chain and promote green aviation with the development of both manned and unmanned systems and subsystems for NewSpace and innovative propulsion systems.

The ECO-AERO Consortium is composed of a strong alliance of key companies and organizations in the aerospace sector, each playing a key role:

  • AIRBUS, a world leader in the aerospace industry, brings international expertise and resources.

  • TEDAE, the Spanish Association of Defense, Security, Aeronautics and Space Technology Companies, which coordinates strategies at the national level.

  • Andalucía Aerospace, the Andalusian aeronautics and space cluster, which fosters the local ecosystem.

  • HEGAN, the aeronautics cluster of the Basque Country, which strengthens interregional collaboration.

  • ASIME, Association of Metal Industries and Associated Technologies of Galicia, which supports technological SMEs in the aerospace industry.

  • CATEC (Technological Center for Aerospace Technologies), FIDAMC (Foundation for Research, Development and Application of Composite Materials) and TEKNIKER, centers of excellence located in Andalusia, Madrid and the Basque Country respectively, which contribute with their knowledge in advanced  technologies and composite materials.
