ECSO CISO COMMUNITY ANNUAL MEETING
CISO Meetup is an annual gathering of ECSO’s CISO Community that plays a vital role in providing daily collaboration opportunities for CISOs across various European countries and sectors. With partnerships established with national CISO Communities/Associations, our Community has rapidly grown, now encompassing almost 600 members from 29 European countries. Representatives from national and regional CISO groups will be present, fostering sharing of best practices with the ultimate goal of unifying all CISO organisations under the ECSO umbrella.
About the Organisers of the Event
The European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO)
The European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO) is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2016. ECSO unites over 300 European cybersecurity stakeholders, including large companies, SMEs and startups, research centres, universities, end-users, operators, associations, national and regional administrations. ECSO works with its Members and Partners to develop a competitive European cybersecurity ecosystem that provides trusted cybersecurity solutions and advances Europe’s cybersecurity posture and technological independence. ECSO also leads the European project ECCO, intended to support activities needed to develop, promote, coordinate and organise the European-level Cybersecurity Competence Community.

The ECSO CISO Community
ECSO’s CISO Community is a place for information security leaders to exchange information, good practices, threat intelligence and to develop common positions of practitioners in cybersecurity. CISOs already cooperate on a national, regional and sectoral level but often struggle to find peers from the other European countries. ECSO’s role is of a neutral intermediary that will help in conveying unified voice of practitioners towards other stakeholders in cybersecurity.
Launched in April 2022, ECSO’s CISO Community currently hosts 500+ CISOs from 29 European countries. Daily discussions are being held on topics that are of general interest to CISOs coming from variety of backgrounds and different countries.
