About me
Nathalie Loiseau is the chair of the sub-committee on Security and Defence (SEDE) and of the European Parliament’s delegation to the EU-UK Parliamentary Partnership Assembly. She is also a member of the committees on Foreign Affairs (AFET). Until August 2023, she was also member of the committee on Foreign Interference in electoral processes, including disinformation (ING2).
She led the Renaissance list during the 2019 European elections.
Minister for European Affairs in the French government from 2017 to 2019, she was the dean of the École nationale d’Administration (ENA) for five years, from 2012 to 2017, and diplomat within the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
She studied at the Paris Institute of Political Studies (IEP) and at the National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO).
She is the author of “La guerre qu'on ne voit pas venir”, an essay on foreign interference, of “Choisissez Tout”, an essay on women’s rights, and of two comic books: “La Démocratie en BD” and “L’Europe en BD”.
