Founder of the Euro 30M Life Sciences Park in Malta complete with concept, funding and implementation - mostly with European Regional Development Funds.

I am now helping technologists in the commercialisation of their dream technologies, not only in the BioTech sector, particularly if these technologies require private financing and/or EU funds.

I am also helping Large Enterprises and public entities in sourcing new technologies and innovation so as to make their organisation more effective and efficient by enabling Open Innovation linkages.

Particularly, I work with regional national development agencies in the realisation of economic projects that have a high value adding contribiution. My assistance also covers the formulation of national strategies in this area.

I have extensive experience in industrial engineering with a focus on operations management having been employed and worked as a consultant in different industries in Malta and Europe since 1981.

I have experience in the application and implementation of lean manufacturing techniques, quality systems, health and safety and overall production control through the use of ERP systems.

I also have experience in starting up ventures in surveying, automation, environmental services, managment and marketing consultancy.

I have senior management experience, in Governement as well as Private industry, reporting to Board of Directors responsible in setting and achieving stakeholder targets.

I have been appointed on a number of Public and Private Boards including Malta Council of Science and Technology, Malta Standards Authority, EneMalta Regulations Committee, Building Industry Consultative Council, Chamber of Engineers (Past President), Federation of Professional Bodies, Federation of European National Engineering Associations (FEANI) -local monitoring committee.
