APRE - Agency for the Promotion of European Research

Founded in 1989, the Agency serves the public by offering free-of-charge assistance, training and information services to all actors of the Italian R&I ecosystem, and it operates in close collaboration with the national Ministry of Education and Research.

APRE hosts all the Horizon Europe National Contact Points for Italy and stimulates the debate on policy and research topics under the Framework Program at international, national and regional level.

Key contributions in terms of expertise include project management, innovation support, policy analysis and advocacy, international cooperation in R&I, strategic communication, and stakeholder engagement at the EU, extra-EU, national, and local level.
