We are pleased to invite you to the 2nd Annual meeting of the EIT National Contact Points (EIT NCP), which will be organised as a two half-day physical meeting on 27 and 28 November 2024 at the EIT and EIT Community premises, located at Infopark 1 Building E, Neumann Janos utca in Budapest, Hungary.
We would like to use the opportunity to also invite you to the EIT Regional Innovations @10 event: The next decade of innovations for the future of Europe. This event will take place on 28 November between 09:30 – 19:00 CET at Millenáris Budapest.
“The Next decade of innovations for the future of Europe” conference celebrates the 10th anniversary of the EIT Regional Innovation Scheme (EIT RIS). This is a key initiative under Horizon Europe aimed at reducing regional disparities in innovation across Europe. The event brings together ambitious minds from Central, Eastern, and Southern Europe offering a unique platform for strategic discussions on boosting capacities to build a competitive and resilient Europe.
Through participation in both events, you will gain valuable insights on key EIT Community initiatives and contribute to strategic discussions which will benefit the EIT National Contact Point network. Furthermore, these events constitute a great opportunity for EIT NCPs to meet each other, as well as members of the EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities, their partners and beneficiaries.
Logistics of the Meeting & your travel arrangements
Kindly note that EIT NCPs from EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries will be entitled to travel and accommodation arrangements by the EIT via its contractor.
In practical terms, this means that the EIT NCP Secretariat via its Contractor will arrange:

An economy return flight/1st class train between your residence/station of employment and Budapest, with inbound travel earliest 26 November 2024, and outbound travel latest 28 November 2024;

A maximum of 2 nights’ accommodation with check-in: 26 November 2024, check-out: 28 November 2024
If attending the EIT NCP Meeting and the EIT RIS @10 event

An economy return flight/1st class train between your residence/station of employment and Budapest, with inbound travel earliest 26 November 2024, and outbound travel latest 29 November 2024;

A maximum of 3 nights’ accommodation with check-in: 26 November 2024, check-out: 29 November 2024
EIT National Contact Points are asked to register and indicate travel preferences via online registration latest EOB 25 October 2024.
EIT National Contact Points from third countries not associated to Horizon Europe are invited to attend the EIT NCP meeting in person at their own expense.
We kindly ask those EIT National Contact Points who will attend the meeting but will not need EIT to arrange travel to also register online.
