Acerca de mí
Andrea Martos Esteban is a scientist and entrepreneur with a decade of experience in Biochemistry and Biotechnology in different internationally leading companies and academic institutions. She is PhD.c in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, for which she has been awarded a prestigious fellowship from AstraZeneca. She also holds a M.Sc.Eng. in Pharmaceutical Design and Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark and a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Andrea is the co-founder and CEO of Codon65® Ltd., a design and engineering studio that creates brand identity for science-based startups. She has also founded and manages Cambridge Biocapital Ltd., a UK-based company specialising in biotech startups that operates as a partner and advisor in investment funds and biotech-focused venture builders, as well as a operating a specialised content platform. Andrea has received various accolades throughout her career, such as the Young Talent award from the joint initiative of the Rafael del Pino Foundation and the Celera Foundation, as well as the publication and first prize (UAM-CSIC Excelentia Campus) for her essay "Volver a hacer fiestas," a popular science book on the impact of genome editing technologies.
