My organisation
The Romanian Association for Sustainable Fuels is founded by Linde and Messer for advocacy in Romania regarding sustainable resources, mainly hydrogen. We are actively participating in all regulating bodies, ministerial working-groups, parliament committees, and at the governmental level, with the Sustainable Development Department cabinet of the Romanian Prime Minister to develop the optimul legislation and regulatory framework for hydrogen and sustainable fuels in Romania, correlated to the european legislation. Our current ambitions are the Guarantee of Origin for Sustainable Hydrogen, the Contract for Difference for Sustainable Hydrogen, and Upstream Emission Reduction certification for industrial processes environmental improvement.
Our most recent research effort has been a Linde founded study of the Romanian market, where we identified all the economic stakeholders that can benefit from adding hydrogen into the business processes. We have inventoried the entire market with varied stakeholders, from large industrial players to the SMEs on their value chains and European traders of their product and services upstream.
Our ambition is to start the information process and approach all the stakeholders inventoried in the first stage of this project, in order to build a conceptual framework for their economic processes overhaul to hydrogen consumption, quantify the economic impact to assess the level of state contribution required for a consolidated modernization effort, informing stakeholders about the benefits of shifting their economic processes to sustainable practices.
The effort is to be a digital platform for sustainable products and services, with a technically detailed guarantee of origin (GO) for each of the contributing members.
