Online Matchmaking sessions - how do they work?
A matchmaking event is an efficient and easy way to meet potential business and collaboration partners. They are facilitated by means of this platform. As a participant you need to be pro-active in requesting and scheduling meetings.
You are able to have online meetings during the period of 27th of October till 27th of November.
Each scheduled online meeting only lasts 20 minutes but they are often enough to build first connections before the meeting ends and the next one starts.
The goal and result of a first online meeting is to find mutual interest in meeting up Face to Face on the ENLIT Fair from 18th – 20th of November.
1. Set up and complete your profile to showcase your needs and offers
Create a clear and concise profile to raise your visibility on the b2match platform. Your profile should describe who you are, what you can offer to potential partners, and what you are looking for. If you have clear pictures of your products, please add these. A good and attractive profile will generate significantly more meeting requests. Make sure to add your offers and requests on the Marketplace.
2. Browse profiles and marketplace opportunities of attendees
Go to the participants list to find out who you could meet at the event and who is offering interesting and promising business opportunities. Use the filters on the right or browse through your AI Profile recommendations in the My Matches section to narrow down your selection and find the most suitable collaboration partners that match your goals and interests. This allows you to maximize your chances of making valuable connections and achieving successful outcomes at the event.
3. Send & receive meeting requests and messages
Browse participant profiles and send meeting requests to those you want to meet during the event. Send out messages to interesting participants to introduce yourself and initiate conversations even before the event to establish stronger connections.
4. My schedule and meetings overview
Access your meetings in My Schedule or Meetings, where you have your complete schedule for the event, as well as the list of your meetings. All meetings are virtual meetings, so check your camera and microphone before joining, and don't be late!
5. Follow up in on-site meetings at ENLIT
After each online meeting you have had, you can schedule a Face-to-Face meeting on the ENLIT Fair, where you and your meeting partner can shake hands and elaborate on the cooperation ideas. At the ENLIT Fair, you can choose the meeting venue yourself. (for instance your own booth, a catering area or the country Paviljon you are hosted by).
