About me
An empowering senior leader with an eye for detail and a deep understanding of the internal and external factors that enable charity growth. Passionate and able to make authentic and emotionally compelling cases to funders, I have 8 years' experience of charity fundraising, development, and governance in a senior role and 10 years' experience of grant giving to individuals, charities, and businesses. A full member of the Institute of Fundraising since 2020 and a subject matter expert in charity governance, fundraising, theory of change, and sustainability planning.
My organisation
Black Mountains College was set up in response to the climate and ecological emergency with the aim of helping to create a future in which nature and humans thrive. Central to this is education for understanding our current situation and preparing for a different kind of future; one that is positive, equitable, and sustainable.
In achieving our aims we deliver a range on non-accredited and accredited learning opportunities including vocational qualifications in partnership with Neath Port Talbot College and a degree programme in partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University.
Our pedagogy is that classrooms should have no boundaries, and that it is equally important to learn in the natural world.
