An experienced third sector development director who has been working within the sustainability agenda for the last year.

My organisation

Black Mountains College was set up in response to the climate and ecological emergency with the aim of helping to create a future in which nature and humans thrive. Central to this is education for understanding our current situation and preparing for a different kind of future; one that is positive, equitable, and sustainable. In achieving our aims we deliver a range on non-accredited and accredited learning opportunities including vocational qualifications in partnership with Neath Port Talbot College and a degree programme in partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University. Our pedagogy is that classrooms should have no boundaries, and that it is equally important to learn in the natural world.
