About me
I have been involved in the metal recycling analytics for over 20 years. With my chemical engineering- as well as analytical chemistry background, I objectively support those who plan to enhance their sorting capability with handheld XRF and/or LIBS analyzers or to develop their process line with LIBS-specific, industrial sorting systems.

In general, the aluminium recycling trend is rapidly growing in the past decade, and it’s expected to be continued, since the aluminium’s recycling circle is infinite. With that in mind recycling aluminium plays a critical role. The benefits of recycling technologies are 95% less energy demand compared to raw material production, reduced carbon footprint, and lower price.
Our main product is laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy, the LIBS-based sensor sorter, which is an advanced technology among aluminium and other light metals sorting solutions. With this technology, we can reach high-purity sorted fractions at a high throughput rate. The Austin AI LIBS is known for its unique design, which has numerous advantages.
Our sorting technology contributes to the aluminium recycling process by sorting the different types of aluminium which ultimately helps the green aluminium production and reaching the circular economy within the aluminium industry - like, automotive, construction, packaging, etc.
