Andre Ufer

André Ufer is a development economist with 16 years’ experience in the mining and economic development nexus. He has worked extensively on mining sector development in Africa, but also in Afghanistan and Mongolia, as staff for the World Bank, the German GIZ as well as an independent advisor. At EIT Raw Materials, he is coordinating various initiatives of EIT-RM with regard to responsible sourcing, with a focus on partnership arrangements between Europe and Africa.
