Biography

Boudewijn Siemons (1964) is Director of Infrastructure & Maritime Affairs (COO) at the Port of Rotterdam Authority, a position he has held since 1 October 2020. On 15 July 2023, Siemons also became Interim CEO. The commercial departments and staff departments report to Boudewijn Siemons as Interim CEO. The departments responsible for expansion and maintenance of the port industrial complex and the Harbour Master division report to Siemons as COO. Mechanical engineer Boudewijn Siemons was President of Royal Vopak’s Americas division until the summer of 2020. After studying at the Royal Naval College (Netherlands), he started his career in 1987 with the Royal Netherlands Navy, where he worked until 1998. From 1998 to 2006, Siemons held various management positions at Royal VolkerWessels. In 2006 he moved to Vopak, where he held management positions in Europe, the Middle East and America.
