Youth and Environment Europe (YEE) is the largest independent European network of environmental youth organisations. Since 1983, YEE uses non-formal education to raise youth awareness on environmental conservation and the climate crisis; is committed to enhance international cooperation among its members and strengthening youth participation in climate and environmental decision-making processes across Europe.

YEE is an implementing partner of the EU4Ocean Coalition for Ocean Literacy. We are tasked with the coordination of one of its three communities, namely the Youth4Ocean Forum. Launched in 2020, the Youth4Ocean Forum is a diverse network of young ocean changemakers from all over Europe, coming together to make the Ocean a concern of all EU citizens through Ocean Literacy and advocacy actions. Through the Young Ocean Advocate programme, the Youth4Ocean Forum equips young project leaders with visibility, training, resources, and the opportunity to connect with a wide variety of marine and maritime experts.
