Kim Kjaer joined technical sales in C.C.JENSEN A/S in 1998 and have since been responsible for technical consultancy and sales to various segments and geographical areas, where he has assisted and guided customers to obtain increased reliability and longer lifetime on hydraulics, engines, gearboxes and many other systems, where oil is an essential part of the operation. This being in mining environments, in plastic molding machines, steel mills or on all types of marine applications. He has in the past 4 years had the commercial lead in a R&D project for condition monitoring in thrusters and cranes with Maersk Supply Service A/S. A project partly funded by The Danish Maritime Fund and has also had the commercial lead to develop technologies to completely eliminate the use of centrifugal purifiers for deisel and engine lube oil on 2- and 4-stroke engines operating on all fuels.

Today Kim is part of the global sales management team at C.C.JENSEN A/S and leads the global marine/offshore segment team.

C.C.JENSEN A/S

C.C.JENSEN has more than 70 years of experience with offline oil filtration and purification. Designs and manufactures of CJC® Offline Oil Filters, Marine Diesel & Lube Oil Filters and Desorbers for all kinds of oil systems for both 2-and 4-stroke main and auxiliary engines. With more than 300 employees, C.C.JENSEN is present worldwide with 12 Subsidiaries and over 40 Distributors, well-known for producing high quality solutions for the marine and fishing industry.

Why Clean Oil

Clean oil in marine and fishing equipment is paramount for system performance, reliability, and vessel uptime. Keeping oil continuously clean, results in reduced risk of wear and tear on components, thus reducing the risk of expensive system breakdowns. Lifetime of both oil and components are increased, thus oil changes are reduced, giving savings on maintenance costs, and benefiting to a reduced CO₂ footprint.

Energy savings & reduced CO₂ footprint

Decarbonisation is an important topic on the Green Agenda, and we would like to help reduce the carbon footprint to the benefit of our customers’ CO₂ goals.

Based on many years of field test, our CJC® Engine Lube Oil Filtration solutions provide not only clean oil to the market, but also lowers the environmental impact considerably; the technology is cleaning the oil without preheating, which means reduced energy consumption. Furthermore - compared with conventional centrifugal separators - this innovative alternative does not generate sludge, resulting in savings of many litres of oil.

The solution complies to OEM demands for oil cleanliness, is approved by Engine Makers, and helps improve the CII (Carbon Intensity Indicator) rating of marine vessels.
